Job Description:
We are seeking a knowledgeable Technical Support Specialist to join our customer support team. In this role, you will provide technical assistance to clients experiencing issues with their WordPress websites, managed WordPress hosting, and cPanel configurations. You will play a key role in troubleshooting and resolving technical problems, ensuring our clients’ websites run smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via email, phone, and support tickets, focusing on WordPress, managed WordPress hosting, and cPanel.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress themes, plugins, and updates.
- Assist clients with cPanel management, including email setups, DNS configurations, and database management.
- Perform website migrations, backups, and restorations as needed.
- Guide clients through performance optimization, security enhancements, and site configurations.
- Collaborate with the System Administrator/DevOps Engineer to resolve complex technical issues.
- Document solutions and create knowledge base articles to help clients self-serve.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in technical support, particularly with WordPress and hosting environments.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress, including themes, plugins, and common issues.
- Familiarity with cPanel and basic server management tasks.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
- Experience with WHMCS is a MUST!.
